DESCRIPTION:September Social Spectacular\nSaturday 7th September\, 10am – 1pm\n£10.50 per person\n\nThere’ll be no Winter Beats concert this year but we still wanted to create an opportunity for people to celebrate everything that happens at the Taiko Centre.\n\nOn Saturday 7th September Taiko South West will host a September Social Spectacular. Lucy will lead a taiko session from 10am – 11.30am then we’ll do half an hour of joint ‘performances’ where anyone who knows the pieces below will get to play them for everyone else.\n• Ogi Matsuri• Shimabayashi• Frantic• Hero• Song with a Heart of its Own• Tilting at Windmills\n\nThen once the playing is done please bring a picnic lunch to enjoy (hopefully outside!) altogether.\nWe are using this Spectacular as an opportunity to raise money for the Taiko Centre so there will also be a raffle therefore if any of you have any prizes to donate please get in touch with Lucy.\n\nWe’re going to run all of this in the Taiko Centre\, rather than down in the Quad\, so that it’s not weather dependent. We won’t limit numbers but it would be great to have a rough idea so please can you let me know if you can attend by Monday 19th August\, hello@taikosouthwest.org.uk.

Suitable for those 18yrs+ \nOur Taste of Taiko workshops are the perfect introduction to taiko drumming. A fun and exciting session will give you an overview of taiko\, a chance to get to grips with the basics and fundamentals as well as learning some simple melody patterns.
