Jack Bazaar is a complex open source taiko piece composed by American taiko player Kris Bergstrom. Performed on naname (slant stand) the piece involves intricate rhythms using different parts of the drum. This workshop will introduce some of the key elements of the piece that were covered in the last workshop plus introduce some new elements. You can still book even if you didn’t attend the previous workshop. Not suitable for complete beginners, or players with no naname experience. Please book in advance by emailing [email protected]. Please book by Friday 31st July so we know we have enough participants to go ahead.
